Almost Halloween Time

Finally the hot weather has broken and its feeling like fall outside.  Which means Halloween isn't far off.  Halloween is my favorite time of year and thanks to pinterest I have sooo many ideas to decorate our house and cards to make.  I now just need to find the time to do all of it.  I have been able to make a few things, which I'm going to share with you 2 I have made recently.

Spider Witch HatSkeleton & Bat Witch Hat

I made these 2 witches hats from the petal cone sizzix die.  The green hat I gave my mom, which I think might be my favorite of the 2.  They were super easy to make.  The hardest part for me was to figure out what Halloween images I wanted to use.

Goth Halloween This one wasn’t originally going to be a Halloween card I was just playing around and it turned into one.  I really enjoy stamps that I can color.  You cant see it in the pic but her boots are sparkly.

Well I hope you enjoyed looking at my creations, hope you come back on Monday I will have 2 more cards for you.  Have a wonderful weekend.  Until my next rambling :)

I’ve Been a Busy Stamper

I have been in my stamp room almost everyday for the last 2 weeks.  I have found my mojo again !!!!  It also helped the fact its been so incredibly hot outside and really who wants to go out when its like that when you can stay inside and play in a craft/stamp room.  So I have made several things, a Birthday Card for my cousin in college,  just for fun cards, a we’ve moved card for my parents and of course I’ve started making Halloween cards and decorations.  So today I’m just going to share with you the we’ve moved card and one of the just for fun card.  Tomorrow Ill share the Halloween goodies and then Monday Ill share the Birthday card and the other just for fun card.

We've Moved DoorWe've Moved - Iniside CardThe We’ve Moved card was really fun to do, I can see making all sorts of fun cards with this Sizzix die..  I just ran the die thru the big shot and make 2 doors one as the main door and the other I cut out for the door trim.  I cut the windows out (die doesn't do that) and used clear acetate to make it look like a window.  Once I got the door done I cut out a piece of cardstock and ran it thru the printer to put info on it then glued the door to it.

Fall Leaves CardThis is just one of the For Fun cards I made.  It was like 90+ outside and thought I would make a fall card, because I sooooo wanted it to be cool and fall out. I used the Scorepal to make the lines in the Leaf and the Acorns and sprayed glimmer Mist on the leaf which you cant really see in the pic.

I've been on a Sizzix die kick here lately.  I have so many and I don’t use them that often.  But I've started thinking outside the box and how to use them differently in my projects.

Well I hope you enjoyed the few cards I shared with you today.  Hope you come back tomorrow and see what else I have for you.  Have a wonderful evening.  Until my next rambling :)

I Made a Card

Finally got everything settled so that I could once again start creating in my craftroom.  So I thought I would share a card I made for my Dad & Mom’s Anniversary.  It was super easy & fun to make.  I found inspiration for the card on Pinterest.  I’m so happy to have Pinterest around because right now my creative juices haven’t started flowing yet I think its because I've been out of my craftroom for so long.  So here is the pic of the card.

A Happy Birthday Card

Wanted to share with you the Birthday Card I made for my Cousin who along with her 2 brothers turned 18 last weekend.  My cousin is a very unique girl.  She is a very talented drawer and I really enjoy making cards for her.  I try and make her birthday cards to match her personality.  When I look for new stamps, paper and embellishments I sometimes look for very different ones just so I can use them for her cards.

001I almost wish I made a extra card to keep in my stash.  At least I have a pic of it.  I have gotten on this kick wanting to color, so I have been making cards that require more coloring then anything else.  Hope you enjoyed this quick post and picture.  Have a wonderful weekend and hopefully Sunday I can spend the day in my craftroom and play with my new goodies I got earlier this week.  Until my next rambling :)
